Stewart Eades grew up in Rose Hill, KS, southeast of Wichita, KS. The seventh of eight children, he is blessed to be a part of a supportive family with Christian parents who have always emphasized a genuine relationship with the Lord. Stewart was saved at the age of 5 on Easter Sunday, accepting Christ’s sacrifice for his sins. Stewart continued to grow in his knowledge and love for God through church, AWANA, Abeka Homeschool, and family devotions.

After several teen years of struggling with the authenticity of his faith, Stewart rededicated his life to serving the Lord at summer camp. Throughout high school, his heart was drawn to Christian ministry, initially in camp ministry. However, with the encouragement of his parents and his mentor Caleb Bowmen, he attended Bible college for Pastoral studies. Stewart graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College in May 2025 with a B.S. in Pastoral Ministry, focusing on Biblical Counseling and Youth Ministry.

Stewart started attending Heartland in late fall 2021 and quickly became involved in the youth group and young adult ministry. His involvement has since expanded to serving in kids' ministry, acting as a substitute teacher for young adults, and regularly teaching youth classes. In May 2024, Stewart began an internship at Heartland, which transitioned to a part-time role in September, leading to an offer of the assistant pastor position from Pastor Abell, starting in September 2025. Stewart is excited to serve the Lord and help others through this role at HBC.
